Within the framework of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy’s plan to enhance and stabilize the unified national grid, and under the directives and continuous follow-up of His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Eng. Mona Rizk, Chairperson of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), signed a contract today with “Pfisterer” and “Mirage” companies for electricity and energy projects.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Ahmed Fathy, Head of the Central Projects Sectors, and Eng. Zeinab Kamar, Head of the Central Ultra-High Voltage Projects Sector.

The contract includes the execution of design, manufacturing, testing, and supply of metallic accessories for conductors and rubber insulators required to connect the Tenth 500 transformer substation to the 500 kV electrical network.

The works include looping in two single-circuit, triple-conductor overhead lines:

The first line: (Badr / Abu Zaabal – In/Out) at the Tenth 500 substation with a length of 12 km.

The second line: (Abu Zaabal / S1 – In/Out) at the Tenth 500 substation with a length of 12 km
